Super URLs: The Basics

Super URL is a fun tool from AMZShark that can help dramatically increase your search rankings within Amazon. They are short, memorable redirects that include your target search keywords. Sending customers to your merchandise through these URLs manipulates the mechanics of Amazon’s search ranking algorithm and stacks the odds in your favor; skyrocketing your Amazon rankings.

How it Works

By clicking a unique shortened link (that we can build for you in seconds), the viewer gets sent directly to your product page. The link manipulates the Amazon search bar to display whichever keyword(s) you’d like your product to be featured on. By doing this, Amazon logs each hit as a search result. Therefore, each click through the Super URL sends your product higher and higher up on the search results page for that keyword.

The URLs, or “slugs” as they’re called, never expire and can handle hundreds of thousands of unique visitors per day.

Here's how to get started:

  1. Log onto your AMZShark account and select “Super URLs” on the left-hand side toolbar.
  2. Click the green “Add a Super URL” button on the top right-hand corner.
  3. Start by entering your ASIN, or the direct link to your product on Amazon.com.
  4. Select which country you are selling this product in.
  5. Start adding the keywords you wish to be more visible in.
*NOTE: if you enter more than one keyword for a product, the Super URL link will randomly select one each time it is clicked.
  6. Adding your Merchant and Associate ID is optional, but it is very important to name your slug. Be specific, as you are labeling your product. For example, if you’re selling women’s sandals, you can use “women’s black sandal.”
  7. Click “Save Super URL” once you have completed all the required fields.
  8. Every link you create will be displayed on the Super URL main page. You can edit or delete them at any time. You can also view how many visits each link has received.
  9. Click the blue “Show Graph” button on the right-hand side of each product listing to view unique and total visitors who used your link. The green line, Unique Visitors, shows you how many individuals in total clicked your Super URL that day. The blue Total Visitors line shows how many clicks the link received, as some people will follow the same link multiple times.

Do this for all of your merchandise to create links that simultaneously drive traffic to your product and improve your rankings on Amazon! Post these links to your company’s YouTube, blog posts, and social media accounts and watch how quickly your visibility improves.

Important! Customers should not use paid traffic through these URLS, except at their own risk. This tool is not an ‘ad clickserver’ and 99.99% uptime is not guaranteed.  Once a user closes their AMZShark account, their links are closed as well.
